Big Tech & The Circle - Censorship on Social Media

Censorship by Social Media companies. Will there be Freedom from Big Tech & The Circle? See Freedom from Facebook, PragerU, Jack Dorsey of Twitter, and Circle Scenes. Then more censorship screenshots with bias at the end!

Nobody forced anybody to use Facebook or Worldie. Host/distribute your publications yourself! On the network, you can publish your stuff relatively freely (if not violating copyright, criminal, etc., depending on jurisdiction), but there's no right saying that others have to gather you an audience. If your publications are racist shit, nobody is going to read it except your like-minded buddies in your own echo-chamber.

As if the right could come up with communication technology, they hate talking to foreign people! No wonder the left is more successful financially in a world that's already globalized anyway (just so you can have other "races" produce your consumer products cheap).

  You know, an interesting thought is that *racist* Gab I think hired only Eastern European coders, I believe. We do best with Indian coders. Also, our first female coder is doing THE BEST! I'm so happy. #EqualOpportunity. We'll actually include "Discrimination creating a hostile environment" in our reporting. I just have to read my MySQL which I haven't yet.

  I think the rationale is that in Soviet times, many people didn't have a lot of distractions and therefore tend to entertain themselves with math and puzzles, plus the Soviet push for a scientific approach to show their superiority. With India, it's much more people plus English, I guess. Sure, very broad stereotypes, but with Gab or whatever, there might be very real-world business considerations behind it.

  Have you seen Gab? It's where several Anti-Jewish or violent people have come from. Going on it just shows a lot of Discrimination, bullying, etc. I cannot speak for the people and companies who fund Gab, Bitchute, even... Minds... All I know, is nonprofit is best. Many of the social platforms don't make a profit anyhow.

Sure, it also depends on the tech and setup of a site as well as what audience they socially cultivate, but isn't the current discussion in part 1) that we + they found out that their kind of thinking is more common than previously assumed and 2) if they weren't on alternative sites, they would still be on Facebook where they were before, until it started to "censor"?

  I think mainly people who didn't have much of an option went/go on there. Maybe they need the free data to communicate. Who knows... however, ours is for integration. We're really more progressive than FB/global, yet also moderate. We're our own thing.

  Didn't know about Gab, but are on Bitchute and Minds. The latter surprisingly doesn't seem to have a public-facing search, so one can't really discover content if not registering. As long as these sites are general purpose, I do my bit of filling them with non-racist content as well. Some content published there could be violating otherwise fairly new "hatespeech" (?) regulation, but still, that's pretty tricky business, try to sue somebody on the Internet over it! Then there's freedom of speech, which I don't think that it's at risk on (our part of the) Internet anyway, because they indeed can run sites like this and aren't shut down. The advent of sites like this might be a reaction to sites like Facebook/YouTube discouraging rightist publications (and fairly so), therefore on a free/open Internet, of course they're going to start their own social + publishing sites, right? There's the question if they should be allowed or not, I'm certainly not in favor of it, but it's a balance to drive them into an underground or have spaces to learn about their views and potentially engage with them, even if discourse might be pretty pointless at times. You're not going to change the thinking in the minds of parts of the population by just denying them access to networks/publication, and with the Internet, they can too organize better and learn that they're not alone (see what the radio did for Hitler).

  All I know is that Worldie is moderate. That's because we represent many different people - that will only grow as we do and our board. As for other networks - I learn over time, and they also change over time. However, it's unclear who/what advises them. Instead, I will make it transparent here what we think and who advises us.   You're right ;). I love talking to people worldwide. In fact, we're actually more progressive in terms of being against bullying, a global policy, and global board members than current social platforms!
