SERENA, the brilliant young editor of BUZZ, has her world turned upside down when her father, the school’s head of journalism, hires Serena’s estranged mother, ALEXIS (Sharon Lawrence), to become the managing editor of Buzz. Alexis is a star TV journalist, who ten years ago chose career over family. Wow, well in 2019: Los Angeles said there were no date rape drug screenings, so how did they detect it in the blood here? This episode is SO relevant and wish it became a series! The clubbing, checking the source directly by speaking to them. "The Price of LA" -> blame for fame or real, equal people? LOL. Think I'm a reporter... Hilarious how this became so true. Also, checking sources instead of being a typical tabloid (hard news) before trying to destroy lives. What happened here?
